A Marine Staff Sergeant who has just had his retirement approved goes back into the line of duty in order to assist a 2nd Lieutenant and his platoon as they fight to reclaim the city of Los Angeles from alien invaders.

Battle Los Angeles is a good Sci-Fi flick, but it was one of those movies where you never get a good look at the aliens, which reminded me of the movie Cloverfield, where you never got a good look at the monster in the movie. But this movie was filmed a lot better then Cloverfield. I had missed a few things seeing Battle LA in the theaters, but when I saw it was releasing on DVD next week I put in on reserve, so I will have it as soon as it releases next week.
